Imagine shaping your EPS blank in the morning and surfing it before noon. Now imagine doing that with a resin that is eco-friendly and incredibly tough.
EPS/Styrofoam Sealer
Zerovoc UV Resin is an EPS/Styrofoam Sealer compatible with polyester resin. Use Zerovoc UV Epoxy resin instead of spackle/putty and you will save a step and time. Spackle takes about 24 hours to dry, Zerovoc cures in minutes. Flexible "tooth"
Using Solarez® UV cure Resin is simple you do not need to add MEKP catalyst.
Just continue to glass your board as you do now. Simply place your board out in the sun, it can be a cold or cloudy day.
Within minutes your board will be cured and ready for sanding.
Reuse of uncured "waste" resin.
What Zerovoc you do not use can be saved because it is not catalyzed. (The catalyst is the UV rays).
After Seal you can use polyester or vinyl ester
Once you have established a protective coating you may add additional layers of, "any" resin, including polyester or vinyl ester, All are compatible.
Vinyl Ester is recommended for the best bond. |
